Hello, here you can find my spool adapter and spring nut for 6mm threaded rod. These components allow you very quick spool change and very quick attaching different width of spools.
The spool adapter allows to use spools with internal diameter between 30mm and 60mm. The adapter is designed for two bearings 626 2Z.
The spring nut is designed for very quick secure spool adapters on 6mm threaded rod. Simply press the button, go throught the rod to spool adapter, then release the button and tighten the nut. The tightening moment depends on used spring. Spring nut is designed for 6mm spring. I used the spring 15x6x0,6mm. For secure the button in the spring nut body you will need screw M3x16mm.
In attachment you can find two models of the button. Both are the same, the different is only in hole for M6 half nut.
