This universal spool holder is designed to save space in z-height.
It´s very interesting for printerfarms!
You can easily change the filament and use XL spools if you want.
Inner spool diameter 44.5 - 61.5
Parts list:
- 1 x screw-jig (printed)
- 1 x nut-jig (printed)
- 1 x PTFE-Guide (printed)
- 1 x PTFE- Tube 4mm/2mm
- 1x threaded rod (m6x160mm)
- 6 x M6 nuts
- 4 x M6 safety nuts
- 2 x M6 x 40 screw
- 3 x washer DIN 9021
- 1 x pneumatic fitting PC4-01
- 2 x bearings 626
I tested this setup with my prusa i3 mk3 for about 1000 hours without a problem.
Tips: If the spool is turning to easily, just tighten the bearings a little bit and I´m using the IKEA Bror shelf.
