Spool Roller (Recirculating 6mm BBs)

Spool Roller utilizing 6mm airsoft BBs

I needed something more flexible while liking the idea of mostly printed rolling elements. I used the cheapest 6mm airsoft BBs I could find on Amazon while no other hardware is required. The BB recirculate with the body and the roller race has increased upper clearance to remove overhang obstructions. No supports are needed but finely tuned coast/wipe/retraction setting are required to minimize blobs. I lightly hit my prints with a heat gun to eliminate any stringing.

The BBs can be inserted through the snap clearance on one end while being sure not to force the last BB causing the assembly to bind. Two version are posted, 4 & 5mm which are to accommodate different spool side widths (not the overall spool width but the portion inserted into the spool roller.
