Alternative spring of this easy to print design https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4523016, meant to be used on the Universal Auto-Rewind Spool Holder https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3338467/. Original spring is almost impossible to print correctly and break very often. 1mm spring with 2.5mm ball end. Works great in PLA. Fit the ball end and turn the center clockwise so the spring will fit into the enclosure.
