A simple test to use for troubleshooting. The goal is to have a common test pattern for everyone so that diagnosis of adjustments can be easier to identify and correct than a typical troubleshooting web page with many different images of unknown models, which may lead to confusing or inaccurate interpretations.

My monoprice maker select printer claims to take 10 minutes to print and would use 0.17 meters (< 1gram) of filament.

I'm new to 3d printing and I'm having some difficulties leveling the bed. Halfway through this print, it will mess up - it will detach/loosen from the surface and not finish. Also, the first layer is inconsistent in volume, and will initially fail to extrude for appr. the first 5cm.

My thinking is that a piece of paper used to measure the extruder distance is giving me some inaccurate results during the standard bed level procedure. So by printing a large square, and using it as a test for others, a common baseline could be
