Necessity is the mother of invention. The Ninja Foodi air fryer dehydrates food - but they only give you one rack. Nice, but this means I can basically do half of an apple or maybe 1 banana. Boo.
While this is designed to fit inside the Ninja Foodi Air Fryer, it really is multi-faceted. Anything flat that needs ‘drying out’ either in a food dehydrator or just in the open air can benefit from these trays.
(If you DO have a Ninja Foodi, specifically the DZ201 model, I was able to stack this 4 high and got me 8 racks between the two units. Enough for 4 apples!)
I do need to list out precautions as we do know the risks of 3D printed things as it pertains to food and moisture, so:
- USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. As I said, 3D printed materials and food is quite controversial. If you are sensitive to this or just get the heebie-jeebies, by all means, don't download it.
- Additionally, I STRONGLY recommend coating this with a food safe epoxy.
- If you do download it, print in PETG, ABS
