This is a standalone filament sensor it uses:
2x 2 AAA batteries,
1x SS-5GL2
1x 3v Buzzer
1x M3 Screw
No need to change firmware, works with any printer with 1.75mm filament.
Emits a constant beep when the filament runs out.
Must be nearby to change filament, or insert filament into extruder.
If the printer has the ability to pull the cut filament followed by another it won't even need to pause the print.
