I broke a base off of a Sylvania LED light and thought I surely can make something out of it.

So I made aN adapter that will screw into it to make a simple adapter to take power from a standard lamp socket.

Well it's not UL approved of course but seems to work well if you need to get power in a place where only a light socket is available.

CAUTION: THIS WILL KILL YOU IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO WORK WITH HIGH VOLTAGE, SO IF NOT COMFORTABLE WORKING WITH IT -- DON'T DO IT. TURN OFF POWER WHEN SCREWING IT IN. I WOULD ONLY USE ON A SHORT TERM BASIS TO POWER A SMALL POWER TOOL OR PORTABLE LIGHT
