Star Vision Modular New Year Glasses

These playful, star-shaped New Year glasses are a fully modular 3D-printed accessory designed for fun, celebration, and creativity. The frame is printed in three separate parts, allowing for easy customization and efficient printing on any standard FDM printer. Each module connects seamlessly using a small piece of 1.75 mm filament, inserted as a hinge pin between the arms and the central star component. Although the glasses do not feature traditional lenses, their bold, open star design symbolizes brightness, optimism, and the energetic spark of the new year. The result is a lightweight, durable, and festive accessory perfect for parties, photos, or themed events. The model’s orientation has been carefully optimized to achieve the lowest possible manufacturing cost while ensuring high-quality results. Custom support structures have been strategically added to maximize strength, simplify removal, and preserve the final surface appearance as much as possible. For best results, it is recommended to use two different materials during printing: PLA for the main glasses components and PETG for the support interface.
