Starfish - 3D scan

This is a 3D scan of a large starfish that was found in Florida. The actual starfish was around 16" across at the widest point but I scaled it down for my needs. I have printed one as large as the 256mm build plate and also printed one scaled to 20% it looked good at all sizes. Take your time when removing the supports underneath. The bumps on the starfish are fairly sharp and they can scratch you if you aren't careful. If you like what you see please check out my other work https://make
