STC1000 Temperature Controller Housing

I am making a mains powered heated bed for my printer and needed a housing for the temperature controller. I designed this to complement the look of my printer and so that it would fit under the print bed, although it could be used for any machine. I will stick it in te position shown but you may wish to add some stick-on rubber feet if you plan to use it free-standing.

The retaining clips for the controller fit down the inside of the housing from the back. Push them into place with a long thin object such as a needle file. They can be released by accessing the release button with a needle file etc. through the slots on the sides.

I printed at 100% fill as the walls are thin. The solid face is only 0.2mm thick and is cut away after printing. I added this because I had difficulty printing small supports and this makes the supports go right across the front face of the part
