Steaming light

This light installs 2/3 s of the way up a sailboat mast the lens gets printed in clear . or can be used to simply mold a lens. I chose to mold the lens. I will upload what I used to mold the lens too. I used small prototyping PC boards to mount the LEDs. Covering the boards with reflective tape makes it brighter. Copper foil tape has since been tinned with solder the resistors span from the Pc board to the copper foil tape. The LEDs stick out a little too far so I'm now in the prosses of re-soldering it with smaller LEDs Found and installed smaller LEds works great for several years now. it contours a Dwyer mast and all its curved surfaces prevent the main halyard from catching on it and getting hooked by it . Its very bright and i have it wired revers polarity on the same wires as the anchor light at the top of the mast . so all I have to do is turn the plug around to select anchor or steaming light .I didn’t know what a sla printer was back in 2017 when I designed this .
