Steering Wheel Remote Mount

I love my new Joying Android head unit in my '99 Jeep Cherokee but I hate having the remote control for the unit mounted to the steering wheel. The other option from Joying is a cup mounted holder and with only 2 cup holders in the car I can't afford to sacrifice one. I wanted to mount the wireless controller somewhere on the dash but given the shape of this device there are limited options. I made this mount so that the controller connects to it the same way that it mounts to the steering wheel. You do not have to modify the controller to connect to the mount so if you ever want to put it back on your steering wheel you can. I attached the base of the mount to the dash with double sided tape but you may need to use something stronger depending on your mount location. Clean the mounting surface first with alcohol for a good attachment.
