Stepper motor-based laser shutter

This is a design for a low-cost 3d-printable shutter that can be mounted on an optical base plate. This is used for the [AutoOpenRaman project](https://doi.org/10.57844/arcadia-7vbd-n3ry) at [Arcadia Science](https://arcadiascience.com/). This design can be used to add a shutter to the [OpenRAMAN spectrometer](https://www.open-raman.org/).
### ⚠️ Warning
**Do not use this shutter with laser powers exceeding 4.5 mW.**
Higher power lasers present a serious fire hazard and may damage the plastic components. This device is intended for low-power applications only and should always be used with appropriate laser safety protocols.
### 📦 What is included
* **shutter-motor-holder.stl**: 3D printed holder for the motor that can be fixed to a base plate
* **shutter-paddle.stl**: 3D printed paddle that will block laser light
* **shutter-motor.stl**: model of the motor for reference (it is not necessary to 3D print this)
