This stepper motor dampener is based off this Aliexpress product:

*The supposed benefits include:*
1.Reduces vibration transfer to printer frame
2.Greatly reduced thermal transfer from hot running motors to plastic frame parts
3.Reduced resonance from motor , less rattles and noises from printer
Any difference is nearly unnoticeable to me since I have silent stepper motor drivers. However, they work very well as a cushion between the stepper motor body and the aluminum frame of my printer.
#IMPORTANT NOTE:
This model is really only intended to be used with soft materials, such as foam, cork or silicone.
The only 3D-printable material I have that can simulate foam is Colourfabb's Varioshore.
