Stick Grenade

My rendition of the German M24 stick grenade.
This model is a dummy meant for show and does not have any fancy internals or anything, but I can confirm that it holds up well when thrown during a reenactment.
The head of the grenade is hollow to allow it to be filled with sand to give a more realistic weight, though if you want to throw it, I would recommend keeping the head hollow.
A few parts were used and remixed from Caputsic's design and were reinforced to hold up with rigorous reenacting.

I recommend printing the grenade handle with 4 walls and using gorilla glue to hold the two parts together, and printing the neck of the grenade with 100% infill.
To give a good wooden look to the handle, use light brown colored spray paint. Let dry, then spray with Varathane Wood Stain Spray (dark walnut) and use a paint brush with long strokes over the handle.
