Stickum Peg

Basic stick up small peg, back it with 1/2" (or 12mm) carpet tape (or automotive moulding tape for extreme/outdoor) and you got a place to hang small things. I use one to keep my steel ruler handy, another for the plastic bag to sweep the scraps into. The "finger hump" helps to guide when its hidden under the work table top.
