This is a design for a Stomp Box shell. The stomp box is a foot-operated percussion instrument designed to accompany a guitar, usually electric.
The stomp box contains a sensitive microphone, and is designed to plug into an input on a guitar amplifier or similar input.
This design is a 3d-printed surround, with 3mm plywood inserts top and bottom, which are the sounding boards for the instrument. The microphone insert will be mounted onto one of these plywood inserts, inside the housing.
Connection to the stomp box is via a 1/4in jack socket on the back of the housing.
