Parts for Orbital Sciences Storm Model Rocket
This OpenSCAD file will generate parts for an Orbital Sciences Storm model rocket. It automatically rescales the parts to fit the specified body tube sizes. The variable bodytubeid is the diameter of the lower stage and bodytube2id is the diameter of the upper stage. I made mine with a BT-55 lower stage and a BT-60 upper stage which ended up being a pretty close match to the proportions of the actual vehicle. The variable phase is used to select which part is generated. Set it to 0 for the bottom part with the fins. Set it to 1 for the coupler between the stages and 2 for the nosecone.
I obtained the dimensions from a photo of the prototype vehicle that I found on the internet, so they may not be very accurate.
