Straight Wire

This desktop wire organizer design is fitted with 2mm, 3.5mm, 5mm and 12mm holes for different varying lengths. Most standard USB cables are 2mm in diameter, headphone cords are standard 3.5mm in diameter, and there are larger options available for HDMI and other plug in devices.
If I could redesign this piece, I would include an assembly that would be able to clip onto the edge of a desk, rather than to just sit atop of one. This would give more desk space as the cords would be organized attached to the side of the desk, and not on top of it.
3D printing will help strengthen the design as the whole assembly can be printed as one piece, and there would be no worry about having multiple pieces fit together or potentially fall apart due to wear and tear.
