My kid's Strider 14X bike shipped without an upper bushing on the handlebars. We didn't notice it until a year later when we finally adjusted the handlebars and noticed the extra slop due to the missing bushing.
This bushing fits snug; I had to tap it in with a mallet. You'll feel resistance when turning the handlebars, affecting turning ability. I just spun the handlebars several times until the resistance was worn down some.
It has held up to a few days of use already, but I'm not sure how long it will last. Use at your own risk.
