In many cases we need increased strength of the 3D printed details in particular areas - for example adding some pivot points, screws, etc. Normally the 3D printer is filling evenly the internal space with some pattern (hexagonal, squares, etc) and there is no way to increase the density of the pattern or create more solid structures inside the body only for the places which require more strength.

Here I'm disclosing a method of improving the 3D printed details strength by adding internal structures inside the body. At the end of the 3D printing the details look from outside the same, but for some areas the strength is substantially increased.

The idea is that if we create very narrow hollow areas inside the body (gap under 0.05mm) they force the 3D printing slicer to add shells around this areas and as the shell lines are so close they merge together into a solid ribs.
