SU-47 Berkut Kit

Introducing the forward-swept wing fighter, the SU-47 Berkut! The Soviet-built SU-47 was designed and built as a supersonic technology demonstrator. While the aircraft never entered service, it was used as an experimental platform for advanced technologies that ended up being used in several later developed fighters. The Berkut, the Russian name for ‘Eagle’, is most readily recognized by its unique forward-swept wing design. The forward-swept wing offers greater maneuverability at transonic speeds. The aircraft also features a tandem-triple design, as the canards (forward control surfaces), wings, and elevators are all arranged in the same plane. This model resurrects the SU-47 Berkut as the 2nd addition to the MadHouse Revenant Collection. It is approximately 1:100th scale to the actual aircraft.
