Subwoofer coneI am working on 3D printing the cone (diaphragm) of a subwoofer, the part that moves to displace air and generate low frequencies.The cone must be light but rigid, with uniform thickness and good flexural strength, because it works in continuous motion. The goal is to achieve a good compromise between acoustic performance and printability, paying attention to the material, orientation and quality of the layers to reduce distortion and unwanted vibrations.
