A simple bracket to use on my NexStar 8SE. It would also (I think) allow the sunscan to be used on an equatorial mount as it would rotate the device 90 degrees, permitting the sun to pass through the field correctly with tracking disabled.
It is a chunky mount. The idea is to make something really rigid. Add a bunch of walls and probably a modifier around the holes with even more walls so that the holes will attach to the outer walls. I'm printing it cut in half horizontally and will glue it together. This eliminates all support material and keeps it flat on the print bed. Future versions may thin down the area away from the dovetail side.
