READ UPDATES BELOW!!!
If you don't like reading, then read this: download the 2 files ending with v1.2. You don't need to download all files.
This was designed from scratch and inspired by the "Yin Yang cable spool". The dimensions vary slightly (slightly larger). The design is significantly sturdier with thicker walls, floor and ceiling, but not to the point where it uses too much plastic or takes too long to print (takes me about 1hr 30min). Best of all, the tongue and groove mesh together perfectly and it operates surprisingly smoothly with minimal friction, but just enough to prevent it from popping out except by force. I'm able to spin both parts independently using only one hand. At the moment it works best with 3mm (v1.0 & v1.1) cables but you should be able to squeeze 4mm cables tightly.
UPDATE 1 (v1.1): Slight modification made to lid and base, making it supremely easy to spin the lid within the base, and unspool the cable easily by holding both ends of the cable
