Super Bee Entrance

This is a luxury entrance for bee hives. Its intended to go on the super as entrances in the super are meant to increase honey yields by making it easier for the returning bees to access the supers. Not sure if this is the case or not so is a bit of an experiment. I will find out this spring and if the bees actually use it!

The entrance has a roof over the entrance to prevent rain ingress and a landing pad to assist the bees, but angled to allow water to drain away from the hive.

The doors can be opened and allow you to adjust the entrance hole size. They can be closed in case of robbing.

The pointed base is intended to direct the bees to the ledge if they are climbing up the hive.

Can be unclipped from the hive and blanking plate placed over the super hole when transporting if required.

This is printed in fluorescent yellow but only because that was the colour I had loaded at the time and not for any bee specific reason.

Dimension of landing pad is max 60mm wide,
