fter searching for models that could lock/terminate a GT2 belt I did not find anything that suited my specific task: First, the models I found was too big and, second, most models did not provide for a lock system that locks against the object when mounting, but rather relies on a belt tightener to pick up the slack. This model is really compact: 3.6 mm high, 8.2 mm wide and 9.1 mm deep! The lock mounts right up to the object, so you can tighten the belt and lock it in place. You can open it, but you need a metal pryer or sharp screwdriver to nudge it open. The pictures should display how to use the lock. For a little larger but still compact lock, which is also easier to open and close, see my "Compact GT2 belt lock". Print one of each of the 2 STL files for each belt lock you want to make. Rotate GT2_lock_2_pt1-Body.stl so the hole with the cut-out (the exit point of the belt) is pointing up. Here printed in white ST-PLA from CC-TREE using the generic profile in Bambu Studio on an A1 mini. NOTE: This print has tight dimensions and requires a precise printer. Also, make sure to take the appropriate steps to avoid elephants foot. There is some small tolerances built into the print where it does not affect the function.
