This is a wheel from the LaFerrari, printed from Natural PLA at 8" x 8" x 4" in high detail, taking 72.5 hours to complete. This was basically my machines' burn-in run after 3 small tests, and it didn't miss a beat.

There was a ton of support material laid down for this model, as I wanted the outer face to have as little cleanup as possible, which made for tall supports under the spokes. Cura gave me an estimate of 52 hours, which was well off, and a number of .6Kg for the amount of material to be used. (Never weighed it to see how accurate it was, but used most of the spool)

The car was modeled in Maya for a large scale wall print @ 17'W x 11.5'H. Rendered using Mental Ray at half size, 300 dpi; then scaled up to full size and reduced to 150dpi. When held up to the print, the model fits the car perfectly :)
