I designed it this way to minimize or even eliminate the need for color changes during printing. The separate base also allows you to experiment with different filament colors for a clean, contrasting outline. Note:This model only supports AMS printing because the small part of the yellow logo is difficult to glue to the hex piece if printed separately.
