Surface Microphone Housing

35mm Piezo Disc, Surface Microphone Housing.

A simple housing for a cheap piezo disc (35mm)to create surface microphones for field recording and sound design.

This example photographs showcase its use with a custom pre-amp I made to provide a balanced output for each channel.

Notes:
Magnets are round 4mm x 2mm neodymium ones and I simply epoxied the magnets in place so they don't pull out when removing the microphone.
Also also put light epoxy to edge of disc to get it to stay in place too.

I should add that I have a direct drive mod to my printer to make this possible to print the TPU85.
