Surface Pro 3 Pen Rest

This is a magnetic pen rest for the Microsoft Surface Pro 3. The rest sits on top of the tablet and does not block the air slots or camera thingy on either side. It also does not block the magnetic type cover close/sleep feature.

The rest works well to keep the pen in place even if you use the tablet as a laptop or move it from place to place. The rest can be removed easily and stowed for traveling.

I really like my Surface Pro 3 but I am dismayed at the lack of places to put the pen. Sure, one can rest it on the desktop beside the tablet, but I've found that to be inconvenient and I sometimes mistake my surface pen for a real pen - it doesn't write too well on paper. ;)

So I've been thinking there has to be something easy to do to make the pen more convenient. I like how the dock uses a magnet to capture the pen but I cannot justify buying the dock just for that. Plus, I wanted something small that I can take with me when traveling.
