This adjustable head strap is to be used with surgical masks with around-the-ear-straps.
When worn for a prolonged time, this straps can cause severe irritation and laceration behind the ears.
This adjustable strap holds the surgical mask straps such that the ears are kept free, and allows surgical masks to be worn for much longer time (e.g. surgery, ICU, isolation, covid-19 wards, etc.)
You will find the STL-files of 2 different models. 1 model allows the mask straps to be caught better to the head strap, which is necessary in some situations.
