This is my first design that uses the “suspended” theme. I decided to suspend the rotor that sits within the housing of a rotary engine. For me, the intention of this was to sit on my desk as a decoration. The pictures taken use Bambu PLA Basic in both black and silver. I have not tried printing in Silk, or Matte, however, I imagine they would be just as successful. Important Information - PLEASE READPrint in PLA - the high active cooling allows for the incredibly long bridges to be printed without issue. Admittedly, I have not tried in PETG; however, if you try it, please upload a print profile for PETG! This design is simply not possible with filaments like ABS, as you cannot cool ABS at the required rate because it warps.Do not touch the part until the plate has fully cooled down so that it can easily be removed.
