SW - TIE/D Defender

The TIE/D Defender was the latest and most powerful of all TIE Fighters
Introduced in the Mission Pack of the PC Game TIE Fighter it quickly replaced the Avenger.

I know there is a official version of it from FFG but I neither liked that nor the blueprint version it is based on because it is some sort of unrealistic.
The Defender is faster than everything else, has strong shields, a hyperdrive, a tractor beam and two warhead launchers, but no room for that. The original PC Version included a hull to carry all that but the FFG Model did not.
So I made my own version based on the original PC version and some inspirations I got from the even better version from fractalsponge.

model 1 is the simple model
model 2 includes a pin holder a support bar in the wings to prevent deformation while printing (the wings had that problem in the first test print)
