Switch in the Stone

I really liked l024x768's Switch Sword Case, but felt it needed something more. Digging around for some CC0/CC-BY rocks I found lukica's scanned boulder so I created a slightly oversized smooth shell of the scabbard in Fusion, stuck it in the rock, and well… here we are 😅 A little light fuzzy skin takes the low poly away, and while I really want to try some nifty core extrusion filament, for now I just shot it out in matte white and I'll paint it by hand. It'd probably look really nice in Ash Grey Matte! UPDATE: I picked up some “rock” filament and while it was a bit challenging to get the material tuned since it's 40% ABS and 60% PLA, but the end result is pretty. Worth checking it out!
