This is a holder/mount that I designed to surface mount a switch for a daytime running lights (DRL) disconnect. The switch used is a standard Dorman 85920 20A, that you can get at pretty much any big auto store chain. It's designed to be used with #8 self tapping screws, with just enough room for an 8mm 1/4" drive socket.

I've included two versions, one with the DRL lettering extruded in the side and one that's blank.

Also worth noting is you'll need to trim the switches side spring-like mounting tabs, it's easy to do. Then, carefully trim the plastic with a sharp blade, to make the sides flush.
