SWVE Standard Replacement Sights Smith & Wesson

A Printable set a sights for your Smith & Wesson Sigma series pistol. These should work with all variants of the SW9 and SW40, BUT WILL NOT WITH WITH AN SD9 or SD40! The “dot” sights require you cut a little bit of filament and glue it in the hold, and the “fiber optic” sights are the same way, but the holes pass through for use with transparent petg. Recommend printing out of a very durable filament like PET-CF at 0.16 layer height. For installation on your slide, the rear sight has a provision for the factory metal locking tab. If you do not have this, a small dab of epoxy in the dovetail will hold it.. the sight is pressure fit to begin with. For the front sight it is recommended you “heat stake” it in place like factory by taking a soldierng iron of a flat head heated with a torch and melt the tab down flat with the slide. You could also cut the nub short and epoxy it in place, but the nub will hit the barrel without heat staking or trimming.
