Synth Laser Cut Box

The inspiration came from old school synthesizers, they were beautiful in their simplicity and design elegance. The idea for my synth box is to use it as a Digital manipulative for children to interact with the screen, and also music, the shape mimics a mixer where you are invited to turn knobs, dials and sliders. This vintage synthesizer sums up where the main inspiration was derived. You can get this finish once you sand and varnish the wood also adding a bit of paint to contrast the colours is a great effect as in the image below.

I wanted to make this modular so you could edit the file easily to add your own size knobs, swtiches and sliders.
