This is a tail stabilizer for T-REX 450 or clone helicopter.
The 3 mm thick one is lighter but a bit flexible when printed in PLA. If no vibration occurs I think it is a good option, because it can absorb some shock before braking down.
The 5 mm thich is solid as rock if printed in PLA, as much as the original carbon fiber one. It will better protect the tail rotor and blades in a crash, but it will also transmit the shock to the tail boom.
If no vibration is observed when flying, I prefer the 3 mm one.
Note: I tried printing it in 1.5 mm thickness like the carbon-fiber one but it is way too flexible.
