I was sitting at home, bored and I had nothing to do. I love air hockey, but I am not willing to drop hundreds of dollars on a big clunky loud machine. I searched the internet for alternatives, but everything I found was either sub-par or overkill. And so, I decided to design my own.
You can either use the design as I did, as table hockey, or you can use this design and create your own air hockey table. Obviously, table hockey has its drawbacks, as the puck has much more resistance and does not ricochet off the walls like any air hockey table. However, table hockey is cheap, simple, and doesn't require a loud fan. It can be put on any hard, smooth surface, and can be transported easily. It all just depends on how much you want out of it.
Either way, this is a classic, fun game to help kill boredom during COVID-19. Enjoy
