A tactile protractor for use by people who have a visual impairment, particularly for aiding in conceptual understanding of what an angle is. The tactile ticks are every 5 degrees, with larger ticks at 0, 30, 60, 120, 150 and 180 degrees, long dashed line at 45 and 135 degrees and long solid line at 90 degrees.
Two pin holes for securing the protractor along the base.
The arm juts out from the protractor on one side, with an arrow at the other end. You can use the rule for vertically opposite angles for measurement and drawing.
The arm is secured with a screw that points up, and a nyloc nut.
Printed with different coloured filaments for contrast
