I was carrying my guitar down stairs with it flipped over my back, as I was carrying other items, when the strap came undone. The guitar bounced all the way down to the bottom, breaking the mount for the pre-amp among other scuffs and dings. I searched everywhere for a replacement with no luck. This became the final justification in my head for me to purchase a 3D printer, "it will pay for itself I thought." After purchasing, learning to use Sketchup, and a couple of too tight prints, many months later this was the final result. I have used the pickup with this for over a year now and it works great, no issues.
I had to print a new gasket for where it meets the body because I neglected to copy curves of the previous one on my initial build and didn't want to change it after. The gasket is printed with flexible TPU and the mount is printed in PLA. I printed it about a year and a half ago so I don't know print settings but I'm pretty sure I used .3mm layer height and 3 layers to
