This is a model of Tanjiro's katana. I personally would use the blade model as a template and make it out of an 8 mm conglomerate sheet (you can use a couple of 4 mm ones glued together)

You will need to put something similar to a shoelace, maybe look for something wider.

There are really cool videos on youtube to make the Tsuka Maki (the thing you do with the "shoelace"), it's not as hard as it seems.

I recommend putting 4 layers of wall and a 50% infill to increase the handle weight, but you can do it with the normal settings too.
