Tape Gun Plastic Attachment

This is a replacement part of a cheap tape gun. Eventually the clear plastic part winds up breaking and that makes using it harder. I figured that I should be able to produce a replacement and maybe even improve on the design for more longevity of the part.

During testing it was determined that the original thickness was too thin for PLA. It flexed nicely but wasn't particularly good for longevity's sake. I increased the thickness and made a "medium" and "extra thicc" version.

And unbelievably, the extra thick version broke even faster somehow. I'm starting to think PLA is probably a bad choice for this but it's all I have. SO to further combat where the cracking occurs, I've made a nice box where you actually have to worry about how much infill to use now.

I'm getting some PETG to try out so if that works out better I may add to this a bit more.
