How many times have you needed a thin strip of tape, tried cutting it with scissors, and been left with a sticky wad? This slitting tool lets you accurately set the desired width, and then precisely slits the tape while still on the roll. Make sure to sand off any blobs or strings from the dovetail slide before assembling. It's best if you can tap the hole for the 10-32 adjustment screw, but you can also just jam the screw in to form the thread. To use, first insert the blade at a slight angle.
