TARDIS electrical box cover

I needed a slightly larger then standard cover plate for an electrical box, and didn't want it to be, you know, boring, so voilia!

You will most likely need the tardis_switch_plate_ring from the original, unless what you're going over is completely flush with the wall.

(And yes, the more observant among you will note the flagrant violation of electrical code in routing wires straight down through a hole drilled in the box. A hole, I might add, that intersects the cover plate screw. And yes, it did pop the breaker because yes, the screw sliced through the insulation and and yes, I did realize just how stupid it was. And yes, I have to pull the wires and route them properly because the insulation is chewed up. But that's not important right now.)
