I felt that the original was too tall. These are bulky as is, and so I removed some material from the top and bottom of the skids thereby shortening the overall height of the skid drastically.

Also, I opened up the sides so that the arm end could slide into the armguard portion of the skid so that these could be printed in any material, flexible or not. I prefer skids in PETG because I find that they hold up better to the abuse.

Last, there are two variants of the armguard/skid, one with a motor screw hole and one not (completely solid) so you can choose which style you prefer.
