This is a dimensionally accurate technic 43mm x 24mm rim from back in the day.
Both ABS and PLA/PLA+ work well. Suggest very fine layer height (0.06 - 0.12mm).
Sounds crazy, but setting a 2.4mm wall thickness will negate the need for infill,
and produce a nice solid part.
Gently hand drilling with a 3mm drill bit through the centre of the axle cross will allow axles to push in more easily.
I had the most success printing "six holes" side up, running concentric support at 20%, or 1mm line gap.
This is not a 3D scan. I have created this in CAD after much measuring!
Have fun, and let me know what you think!
