Telescoping Gauge I got tired of not being able to measure inside spaces where my calipers wouldn't fit - drawer openings, cabinet interiors, checking diagonals for square. Telescoping gauges exist but good ones are expensive and cheap ones are floppy. So I made this. Two rods ride in tracked channels to stay aligned, a knurled knob locks them down with a simple friction clamp, and the push plate is captured so nothing falls apart when you're fumbling inside a cabinet. The model comes with everything you need out of the box -body, rods, knob, push plate - but it's designed to be taken apart and adapted. Want longer reach? The rods are just rectangular stock, around 20mm × 12mm cross section - cut some hardwood dowels or print longer ones. Want more clamping force across a wider span? Stack two or three clamp bodies. Print it in serious tool gray or in the brightest filament you own so you can actually find it on a cluttered bench. Remix it, extend it, tell me what's missing. I'll keep
